The familiar card then can be used in the player’s Use inventory registering the familiar into Roro, the Familiar Codex. The Familiar System is now much more robust, complex, grindy and rewarding than it’s previous iteration but this has opened up to many more opportunities for Nexon to introduce new bugs and to monetize this new system. The Familiar System in Maplestory is a system where when some monsters are defeated, they might drop a familiar card that can then be used to use summon that monsters as an ally. ![]()
